Regular classes are conducted by qualified faculty in the college, ensuring the students receive a comprehensive education. To alleviate their inconvenience, the college has also provided free bus service. Additionally, the college places a strong emphasis on industrial education, offering sewing classes for girls and tally and CCC classes to equip students with essential computer knowledge.

Furthermore, Target Academy conducts general knowledge classes to prepare students for government administrative services. To enhance their knowledge, students are also sent to Gyanasatra for various subjects. Moreover, a yoga diploma course is available for students to promote holistic well-being.

The college organises trips for students to connect with nature and provides students with opportunities to learn through different subjects at Gyanasatra. Students have consistently excelled in state and national-level cultural and sports activities, bringing pride to the college. Notably, the students secured the second rank in the group dance and mime competition at the HNGU PATAN youth festival, with three students representing the college at the national level.

In sports, students have made significant contributions at the district and state levels, elevating the college’s reputation. The National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) activities at the college involve students volunteering in specific villages to address the villagers’ problems. These activities include village cleaning, blood donation camps, free medical checkups, and cultural entertainment.

Students participating in N.S.S. activities have not only made a positive impact at the district and state levels but have also represented the college at the state level in Junagadh and the national level in Delhi. This demonstrates the exceptional abilities and dedication of the students from this college.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a voluntary service program that nurtures social responsibility and community engagement among students. Our college’s NSS unit has been providing students with opportunities to participate in various community service activities since 2005. These activities include blood donation camps, environmental conservation initiatives, disaster relief efforts, and social welfare programs. Through NSS, our students develop essential life skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication. Moreover, they make a positive impact on society. By fostering a sense of social responsibility and civic engagement, NSS plays a crucial role in shaping our students into responsible and empathetic citizens.

Sports and Yoga

Students at N.P. Patel Arts and S.A. Patel Commerce College in Palanpur, Gujarat, engage in a diverse range of activities beyond academics, including sports and yoga. Recognizing the importance of holistic student development, the college organizes an annual sports day that fosters enthusiasm among students.

In addition to these activities, students actively participate in inter-college competitions affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University in Patan. Their remarkable achievements include qualifying for the inter-university west zone in various sports, including judo, wrestling, and athletics. Notably, students have secured gold medals at the university level in these sports. Furthermore, they have made it to the inter-university west zone by securing championship and runner-up positions in yoga, kabaddi, and volleyball.

The college also supports students’ participation in the Khelo India University Games organized by the Sports Authority of Gujarat. To encourage students’ participation in inter-college competitions of Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, the college provides sports kits.
